I have been an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman for over 40 years. I have loved being an outdoors sportsman since I was 8 or 9 years old. The Lord has used my love of the outdoors as an avenue to share the gospel through speaking at Wild Game Banquets.
I desire to go wherever the Lord gives me an opportunity and share the adventures and the blessings the Lord has shown me in and through my life. Speaking at Wild Game Banquets has opened up an opportunity to reach a group of men who need to know the Lord but would rarely attend a worship service in the local church. Through these Wild Game style banquets many men have come to know the Lord in a personal way, the Holy Spirit draws them to attend the event through an invitation by a friend, just like you. Then you give me the opportunity to share, be a witness and encourage men who are believers to take their rightful place as the spiritual leader of their families, homes and in the local church. I would welcome the opportunity to come and speak at a banquet in your church. Please contact me or refer me to your Men's Ministry Director or Pastor.

My Testimony
I was led to the Lord by my sister at the age of thirteen. I grew up in church and as a teenager became an active member of my youth group. Later in my teens I got involved in a large bus ministry. It was at my church that I met and married my bride. We did not attend the same high school but we were church youth group sweethearts. We will soon be celebrating our 35th anniversary.
The Lord blessed us with the privilege of raising two beautiful daughters that are now both married to devoted Christian men. We currently have 5 grandchildren. We truly know what is so GRAND about grandchildren.
After years of being active and involved in the local church, I knew the Lord had called me to full-time ministry which led me to seek a formal education that brought me to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Lord placed a desire in my heart to preach and teach and use my God-given talents for the Lord. While financially putting myself through seminary, I worked as a contractor doing all types of construction and maintenance work. After graduating in 1996 from the seminary, Dr. Paige Patterson asked me to join the staff and take care of the construction needs here on campus. I currently serve as the Construction Manager for the Seminary jquinn@sebts.edu In the past 15 years while serving here at Southeastern, I have pastored 3 years in Durham, NC; led revival services, helped numerous churches with remodeling and enhancing their facilities, as well as speaking at Wild Game Banquets of which, mostly have been located in North Carolina, Virginia and Florida.
Through the relationships the Lord has given me, I have been able to lease over 1,000 acres around my home and I enjoy taking friends, family, seminary students, Pastors, their children and their family members hunting and fishing. We always have a good time. We start every hunt with prayer. Not only is the prayer time special but the lunch meal (venison) is a real treat, one they never forget . God truly has blessed my life here upon this earth and I give Him all the glory.
